About the Artist

I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Lauren, a professional painter for the past 11 years, though I’ve been a creative for as long as I can remember. I’m the granddaughter of a folk artist, and I spent my childhood immersed in poetry, short stories, drawing, and painting.

After college, I began my career in Corporate Communications at a major cosmetics company, but returned to my love of the arts after the birth of our first daughter. Alongside my creative work, I am also a rare disease advocate and parent. My son is affected by a rare genetic disorder, and in 2019 I co-founded a nonprofit to support research for his condition, serving as President until 2023.

I am many things: an artist, a mother of four incredible children, a wife to the man I fell in love with in high school, and a parent advocate raising a child with unique needs. These life experiences—both joyful and challenging—have deeply shaped my artistic journey.

I believe art should bring joy and energy into a home. It is powerful for both the artist and the viewer, offering connection, emotion, and presence.

My work has been shown in several art exhibitions in New Jersey and Long Island, and has been carried in home décor shops in New Jersey and the Hamptons.

Art is magic. It transforms. For me, it is healing, energizing, and freeing.

Thank you for being here,
Lauren
